No Man's Sky set to release second major update, due this week

Hello Games has mostly kept to itself as of late, but it hasn't stopped working on No Man's Sky. The first major update was the Foundation Update, which was released back in November. The new update called the Path Finder will attempt to fix those issues and bring "No Man's Sky" to the game it was made to be.

They posted: "This week Hello Games will be releasing the next content update for No Man's Sky".

The announcement further states that the indie game developer was "surprised and excited by the response to Foundation" and that they "have been listening carefully to community feedback since then".

That being said, based on the film's success, I assume Fox will want director James Mangold hard at work on an X-23 movie ASAP. Overall, there is a depressing and disturbing vibe that permeates throughout all of the action.

The developer noted that the detailed patch notes for the Path Finder Update will be released once it goes live within the week. The update also introduced freighters that players could purchase. Survival mode did the reverse, upping the difficulty and creating more threats for those who thought the game was too tame.

Hello Games has been notoriously quiet following the backlash that ensued following the launch of No Man's Sky, with the only communication from the developers being to announce updates and patches. The update received its name because it laid the groundwork for future updates like Path Finder.

After more digging around, the No Man's Sky fan then found nods to tire textures, before finally finding a way to see what the buggy might look like in the game.

It reiterated that it was listening to player feedback and had been taking it into consideration as part of continued development of the game. It shows the path forward.
