Marcus Stoinis replaces injured Mitchell Marsh for last two India Tests

ICC Chief Executive David Richardson, who seemingly held a much more relaxed stance, said "We have just witnessed a magnificent game of Test cricket where players from both teams gave their all and emotions were running high during and after the match". Stoinis has been called in as a replacement for the injured Mitchell Marsh.

Marsh managed to score only 48 runs in four innings he played in India and bowled just five overs, which all came in Bengaluru Test.

Earlier, Marsh was included in Australia?s Test squad for India despite having been ruled out of the successful ODI series against Pakistan after injuring the same shoulder.

"It was fine when he got here but it's gotten worse", Lehmann said.

"I was confident (Marsh was fit), I thought he played really well in the second innings in Pune where he got 31".
