Miley Cyrus's Love Song for Liam Hemsworth Will Give You Relationship FOMO

Miley will be giving her first televised performance of her new single at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 21, on ABC.

Miley Cyrus has released her first new single in two years, and it was worth the wait.

"Malibu" is clearly inspired by her relationship with her now-fiancé, "Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth.

People are "going to talk about me if I come out of a restaurant with Liam". The melody is a sweeping and sweet love song about her relationship with Liam Hemsworth. She appears to be having fun on the beach, but all I can think about is how cold it must be. Miley quips, as she watches her preteen self sing the lyric "tryin' out our brand new bikinis".

Billy Ray Cyrus is full of praise for Miley's sobriety journey

It has been quite some time since we have heard a hit from Miley Cyrus, but the wait is over. It's a "love all" carefree kind of tune that you could ride along to on warm-summer days with friends, and it's the song you want to explore and wander with your lover. The singer also shared a music video for it as well!

"As a dad, I see Miley really just functioning on, like, a figure and a joy for life. The news comes after the 'Malibu" singer recently said she was clean from both drugs and alcohol because she "wanted" to get clean.

"Girl if ur anxious abt (about) where tongues have been good thing ur ex boo is ur EX BOO cause we ALL know where THAT (tongue) been", she wrote.

While her country superstar father Billy Ray Cyrus seems thrilled about his daughter's decision to adopt a conservative sense of style, her happiness is what matters most.
