'Dr Phil' airs interview with fiancee of Aaron Hernandez Monday, Tuesday

"I just know that the feedback I was getting from our last talk had nothing to do with any suicidal thoughts", Jenkins said. We were going up a ladder, in a sense.

"I think that it's such a long shot of a theory that I don't give it a shred of credibility at this point", he said. I've said it over and over. "I feel like he could have been saved or something could have been done or whatever the case may have been, I feel like someone was in the wrong somewhere".

Former NFL player Aaron Hernandez sounded as if he thought he would soon be freed in his last conversation with his fiancee before he killed himself.

Though Jenkins-Hernandez said she doesn't think her husband killed himself, she didn't expound on alternative explanations for his death.

The Worcester County District Attorney's Office announced Hernandez's cause of death was suicide.

While she said it was "a note of love", she thought it was unusual that he addressed her as "Shay", and not a more affectionate greeting such as "babe" or "bae", she told Dr. Phil.

Mychal Givens pitched two ideal innings, Donnie Hart got two outs in the ninth and Darren O'Day finished for his first save. OF Joey Rickard (sprained finger) took soft-toss swings in a session manager Buck Showalter called "very encouraging".

The images of Aaron Hernandez's daughter, Avielle, sitting in her mother's lap at a court hearing and holding her hand days later to attend her dad's funeral are heartbreaking. "I don't think this was a suicide, knowing him".

"It screamed love, but it wasn't personal. But as far as the content, he seemed to be his loving self", she said, according to Daily Mail. It wasn't intimate. There were some odd parts where it just didn't make sense. It was very short, I wanted more, wanted him to explain.

The former National Football League athlete hanged himself last month in a MA prison cell where he was serving a life sentence for murder. "He said that Aaron was found in his cell and he was deceased, he was being transferred to the hospital and that's when I said immediately that I was coming; he told me to wait for the medical examiner and I wasn't taking that for an answer". Then again, she also admitted that she didn't ask many questions about his social life. "He didn't have the best choice in some friends, but that didn't make him a bad person", she said. "I invited everyone into the home that he brought there, I was never rude".

State Police said they found cardboard jammed into the door tracks of Hernandez's single-inmate cell to impede entry into the cell.

A MA prisons report says Aaron Hernandez was outwardly elated after his acquittal in a double murder trial and did not appear to have thoughts of suicide in the days before he killed himself in his prison cell. She acknowledged on the show that the handwriting matched Aaron Hernandez's "although there are odd things about it".
