Tiger Woods jail video released after suspicion of drunken driving arrest

A video of Tiger Woods taking a breathalyzer test while handcuffed inside Palm Beach County Jail was released Thursday.

"I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions", Mr. Woods said the incident on Monday. And we wish him well.

Woods has undergone multiple back surgeries and hasn't played competitive golf since February. During the initial line of questioning, Woods is adamant that he hasn't had anything to drink, and subsequent blood-alcohol tests proved he was telling the truth - Woods blew a 0.0.

He is set to appear in court on 5 July charged with driving under the influence.

Both tyres on the left side of the auto were flat, and police described fresh damage to the driver's side. Tiger Woods attributed an "unexpected reaction" to prescription medicine for his arrest on a DUI charge that landed him in a Florida jail Monday for almost four hours. Woods, 41, blamed the incident on medications.

When it's over, Woods seems baffled by the contraption holding his wrists together behind his back.

"Obviously a lot of people know what happened to Tiger Woods the last few days, " Kaymer said in a video on his Twitter account, seemingly in reaction to disparaging remarks on social media. Initially it has been claimed that he was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail. "I didn't realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly", Woods said in a statement after news spread of his arrest. Woods also released a statement that said he was not drinking and driving.

A tour spokesman declined to comment on whether Woods is subject to any penalty "conduct unbecoming", keeping to the longtime PGA Tour policy of not discussing whether players are disciplined.

He failed numerous field sobriety tests and was arrested.

In the footage, his speech is slurred as he states his name, along with his height, weight, hair and eye color for the officers.

He had been taking drugs after having several operations on his back.

He attempted a comeback after more than a year away from the game late in 2016 but played in just three tournaments.
