Fairbanks Relay for Life raises over $100K

- Head to the Goshen High School track and take a walk alongside cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers, and community members.

The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life movement is a fundraising event meant to fight every cancer in every community. "In addition, Relays for Life bring knowledge about the services provided by the American Cancer Society to residents of our county in need".

Although that wasn't quite reached, the event still pulled in a little more than $56,000. Her seven-year old daughter, Grace, is a survivor.

More than 400 cancer survivors registered to participate in this year's Greene County Relay for Life recognition ceremony, organizers reported.
