Former UFC heavyweight Tim Hague died today after suffering a knockout loss in a boxing match on Friday night in Canada.
The 34-year-old Hague fought in MMA for 10 years before turning to boxing.
Hague suffered a brain haemorrhage sustained after the KO 79 boxing match-up against former Edmonton Eskimos player Adam Braidwood at the Shaw Conference Centre.
Hague switched codes to fight Braidwood, 33, on Friday night, and was sent crashing to the canvas following a flurry of shots in the second round.
Multiple reports surfaced stating that Hague had passed away Saturday morning, but his sister has since refuted those reports. We will miss him with so greatly.
But it was backstage in the dressing room where Hague's main issues began, as the fighter soon began to fall desperately ill in the aftermath of the event.

He compiled a 21-13 MMA record before switching to boxing.
Hague entered this bout with Braidwood with a 1-2 overall record and was knocked out in December.
