Lonzo Ball lights up 76ers in Nikes, draws attention of LeBron James

Lonzo Ball's $495 Big Baller Brand shoes have drawn plenty of comment over the past few months, especially with the various stunts his father LaVar has pulled to promote them, but the most interesting moment yet may have come Wednesday.

Yes, it's only summer league, but Lonzo Ball going for 36 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds - plus hitting the game-winner - cements something I've been thinking a lot about lately: The Lakers should have the 3rd most televised games in the National Basketball Association next season, after only the Warriors and Cavs.

"Um, you know, Mamba mentality", the 19-year-old Ball said.

Check out Lonzo's highlights from last night's game below. "[I] put them on, and it worked out tonight". Ball was wearing the Nike Kobe AD sneakers for warm-ups on Wednesday, and he continued to wear the very purple Nike shoes during the actual game, according to FTW. Former first-round pick Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot led the Sixers with 16 points, six rebounds and three assists and Jonah Bolden added 13 points and eight boards. Ivica Zubac was a factor down the stretch as he poured in 21 points, including the final two free throws at the end of the game to clinch the win.

The third time was the charm for Lonzo Ball.

South African Bavuma checks England's progress
Bairstow and Woods did manage to rebuild England's innings but Woods soon lost his patience as Rabada knocked off his off stump. Moeen contributed 87 and Broad 57 not out, an innings not quite so polished but just as entertaining to all but the purist.

Cruz Holds Austin Town Hall On Health Care With Veterans
Some conservatives, including Cruz, have backed repealing ObamaCare now, with a delayed "off ramp" and replacing it separately. The gist is this: Health insurers could sell non-Obamacare plans as long as they also sold Obamacare-compliant insurance.

Saudis pressure Sudan's Al-Bashir to boycott Qatar
On June 27, during a visit in Washington, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir called the demands non-negotiable . Qatar denied all allegations, but the country's authorities stated that they were open to negotiations.

The Lakers rookie, though, played down his accomplishment in the summer league.

The Ball family is now selling Lonzo's signature shoe, the ZO2, for $495.

The rookie out of UCLA went 12-for-22 from the field including a 3-for-10 three-point rate.

Justin Robinson made a go-ahead jumper with 11 seconds remaining to send No. 12 Miami into a second-round matchup with the unbeaten and fifth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers.

In a post-game interview with ESPN, Ball defended his choice of shoes, saying the BBB can be whatever you want.
