Sean Spicer on SNL Parody: 'It Was Stupid, Silly, Malicious'

Spicer said Friday that he found some of the late-night comedy show skits amusing.

"I think that there were parts of it that were amusing, but there's a lot of it that was over the line", said Spicer of McCarthy's imitation of him on "SNL" this season.

At the moment, Spicer's resignation is getting so much attention that Reuters has a weird live camera feed outside his adorable home in Alexandria.

President Trump's outgoing press flack said during an interview with Fox News on Friday that he was not happy with Melissa McCarthy's infamous "Spicey" impression. Spicer said mostly it wasn't amusing at all; it was silly, malicious or stupid.

Melissa McCarthy regularly lampooned Spicer's gum-chewing habit.

Spicer admitted "there are some skits on late night television that I will crack up at", but didn't specify what made him chuckle. He praised Spicer and even defended him from an editorial calling him a "four-Pinocchio Press Secretary".

As noted by the New York Daily News, Reince Priebus, the White House Chief of Staff, was also on Fox News Friday and spoke about "Saturday Night Live". He added, "I'd rather us be talking about the issues that the president is so committed to helping Americans on, but you know, it's a part of American culture".

While we don't know for sure where Spicer drew the line between amusing and not amusing, the gag about his frequent use of chewing gum had to be among those that enjoyed since he actually responded to that bit in a later interview. "I'm fast asleep. I'm in bed, get up, go to church the next day, and look ahead", he said.
