Teen Accused of Driving Under the Influence Livestreams Fatal Los Banos Crash

An 18-year-old Stockton woman is in jail accused of driving under the influence during a deadly crash Friday. The driver was wearing a seatbelt but not the two girls, the CHP said.

After the crash, Sanchez filmed her sister's body in the field while speaking to the camera.

The California Highway Patrol says Sanchez was driving a Buick Century on Henry Miller Road east of Mercey Springs Road, about 10 miles east of Interstate 5 and just northeast of Los Banos. The livestream video cuts off shortly after Obdulia can be seen kneeling beside her sister, saying, "Wake up baby, I'm f**king sorry baby, I did not mean to kill you sweetie".

"I fucking love my sister to death".

"Hey, everybody, if I go to f-- jail for life, you already know why", she began, adjusting the camera so that it showed her younger sister, motionless and bleeding from the head. California Highway Patrol Sgt. Darin Heredia told BuzzFeed News that the graphic nature of the video is being considered by officials to investigate whether the recording played a role in the incident.

Obdulia Sanchez complained of pain in her chest and right knee after the crash. I killed my sister, but I don't care.

Ms Sanchez Estrada, meanwhile, was sitting in the back of the auto without a seat belt and was killed when she was ejected from the vehicle.

Sanchez has been charged with gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, as well as causing injury while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. "I recorded it and posted it mainly because as someone who uses Snapchat I see a lot of people driving with their Snapchat doing what she was doing, so to me it was like an eye opener". Her sister was supposed to celebrate her quinceañera (15th birthday) soon.
