Coroner reveals cause of death in Temple student's slaying

He was accused of murder, mishandle of a cadaver, messing with proof and medication offenses after the dead group of Jenna Burleigh, a 22-year-old junior at Temple, was found at his grandma's home on Saturday.

A body confirmed to be Bureligh's was found Sunday on township property belonging to Hupperterz's grandmother. He is charged with murder, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and related charges.

And Temple University says all students should know they're not alone. Burleigh's body was discovered at his grandmother's Wayne County home more than 100 miles away.

Investigators say Hupperetz killed Burleigh with a blunt instrument and strangulation in or close to his Philadelphia apartment in the early hours of Thursday 31 August after the pair left a bar together. According to a Philly.com report, police found blood, large quantities of drugs and cash in Hupperterz's North Philadelphia home near the pub.

Temple is offering on-campus counseling 8:30 a.m.to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at Tuttleman Counseling Services.
