DirectTV reportedly offering NFL refunds after National Anthem protests

Usually, AT&T has a strict no-refund policy for its Sunday Ticket NFL package, which costs just under $300 a season, according to Bloomberg.
The Sunday Ticket package (costing around $280 per season) earns the National Football League $1.5B a year in licensing and is a big draw for DirecTV.
The TV football package costs nearly $300 a season, though AT&T offers various promotions and monthly pricing options.
DirecTV is allowing customers to get refunds when they cancel their Sunday Ticket package if they cite players protesting during the national anthem as the reason for ending the service, Joe Flint of The Wall Street Journal reports.
Some Twitter users on Wednesday praised DirecTV's move, while others criticized the exemption, which was first reported by The Wall Street Journal.
