The 64-year-old retiree and high-stakes gambler killed 58 people and injured more than 500 at a country music concert Sunday night before taking his own life.
The girlfriend of Stephen Paddock, the man who massacred almost 60 people attending a music festival in Las Vegas, has returned to the United States from the Philippines, according to media reports.
Suarez said the NBI was looking into reports Danley arrived in the Philippines last month, and that Paddock had sent $100,000 to her via a wire transfer.
Almost two dozen guns were recovered in Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock's hotel room and officials said they also found a pair of bump stocks.
"The author of the attack of Las Vegas is a soldier of the islamic State", said Qama, the propaganda organ of the ARS in a message in Arabic, without more of precision.
Investigators reached Marilou Danley early Monday but do not believe she was involved in the shooting at this time.
And when a reporter asked if he would offer any gun policy proposals, he said simply: "We are not going to talk about that today".
"I knew Stephen Paddock as a kind, caring, quiet man", Danley's statement said. Danley was allegedly in the Philippines during the attack and was met by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents upon her arrival at LAX.
Officers on the ground can be seen working their way towards Mandalay Bay Resort, where gunman Stephen Paddock was shooting.

As for what motivated the actions of his brother, Eric Paddock said he and his family are "still just completely befuddled".
Paddock had an arsenal of weapons in his hotel suite, including bump-fire stocks - legal devices that enable a shooter to fire bullets rapidly, similar to an automatic rifle. Overall, 527 people were injured during the mass shooting.
Reports also emerged on Thursday that Paddock, a gambling and cruise enthusiast, may have looked into carrying out an attack in Chicago or Boston.

The FBI runs their name through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, which refers to three databases of offenders. If a person's record is clean - and Paddock evidently did not raise any red flags - he can buy as many guns as he wants.
