NY police say they're building a rape case against Harvey Weinstein

Police in NY said on Friday they have enough evidence to arrest disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein after a "credible rape allegation" was made against him.

The Manhattan district attorney's office has a senior prosecutor assigned to investigate de la Huerta's rape claims, AP reported.

"Boardwalk Empire" actress Paz de la Huerta accused Weinstein of raping her twice at her NY apartment in late 2010.

The NYPD says the attacks are alleged to have happened in 2010, and add they would need to obtain an arrest warrant, noting Weinstein is out of state.

Boyce said that De le Huerta's story was credible partly because of her "ability to articulate each and every minute of the crime, where she was, where they met, where this happened and what he did".

The disgraced movie mogul could be facing criminal charges.

When the actress jumped away from him, he ejaculated in his trousers . "It really is not all of Hollywood", Gunn replied. The Los Angeles Times reported Monday that it spoke to 38 women about the allegations, with 31 speaking on the record.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie are among the actresses to accuse Weinstein of sexual harassment, while Rose McGowan said he raped her. We then sought to garner corroboration - this happened seven years ago - and we found corroboration.

De la Huerta's allegations are at least the third Weinstein case to have been investigated by NY police in recent years. The actress said she'd been drinking at the time and was scared of Weinstein.

A person who answered the phone and said he was a manager at the Chestnut Fine Foods & Provisions restaurant in Phoenix said Weinstein dined there Thursday night.

The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are victims of sexual assault unless they speak publicly, which de la Huerta and Guiterrez have done.

Robert Boyce said the alleged victim "put forth a credible and detailed narrative".

The movie mogul has "unequivocally denied" allegations of non-consensual sex.
