Officials in San Bruno, California said on Tuesday afternoon that four people were wounded, and a suspect died of a possible self-inflicted wound, during a shooting at YouTube's corporate offices. Heard shots and saw people running while at my desk.

A YouTube product manager, Todd Sherman, described on his Twitter feed hearing people running, first thinking it was an quake before he was told that a person had a gun.

Law enforcement sources told The Los Angeles Times that the shooting appears to be an instance of workplace or domestic violence, not terrorism.

People nearby the campus have posted photos and information from the scene on social media, showing police cars surrounding the facility.

According to witnesses, the female gunman shot her boyfriend and then herself.

More than 1,000 employees work from the building.

Two of the victims were found at an adjacent business, Chief Barberini said.

Authorities were seen taking extra precautions as they evacuated the building, frisking every individual before they were allowed to move on to safety. Mangiante said she did not see or notice anything.
