Kim Kardashian Look Alike
Kim Kardashian is everywhere these days. Case in point she has her hit reality TV series, she’s a Twitter maven, she’s a perfumer on the shelves of top department stores and is about to release her first pop single over the radio waves. So, it wasn’t too surprising to see Old Navy’s “Super C-U-T-E” commercial this week and see what appears to be Kardashian, finding yet another brand to pitch and make millions.
The new commercial is a brand new campaign for Old Navy, which replaces the retailer’s “Supermodelquins” ads. The commercial features the pop group called The Audio Threadz. The lead singer of the group is actress and singer Melissa Molinaro. She is the spitting image for Kim and could easily pass as the 6th Kardashian sister.
The Audio Threadz troupe dances around on vibrant sets moving from the breakfast table to the dentist’s chair to a dog park to a supermarket and we can’t keep help but to think that it was about time that Old Navy took a chance on a new marketing concept.
Even if one stares closely at the commercial, it is very difficult to tell if the singer is really Melissa Molinaro or Kim Kardashian.
The two women definitely have more in common than what meets the eye. Molinaro is also a singer/model/actress and if her career keeps up, she may even be able to add Twitter maven and perfumer to her resume. Spookier things have happened in La La Land.
